Gwadar's location and history have given it a unique blend of cultures. The Arabic influence upon Gwadar is strong as a consequence of the Omani era and the close proximity of other Arab-majority regions. The area also has a remarkable religious diversity, being home to not only Muslims, but also to groups of Christians, Hindus, Parsis and various other minor Islamic sects. Most people in Gwadar are traditional fishermen.
Gwadar is a peaceful little place but this coastal city has something for everyone, it offers breathtaking views of dramatic cliffs winding around the sea, beautiful Sandy beaches, extensive tidal flats, salt marshes, grassy meadows and forest trails. U can enjoy shimmering sunrises over the Coast and serene evenings on the bay , the beautiful sand dunes that meet the sky in the distant horizon create a magical effect, truly this place is heaven on earth. |
